The office is switched on per company. It adds no data entry: the floor reads departments from People and presence from Time. If a company does not want it, it never appears.
For teams that are not in one building
Remote and hybrid teams lose the glance across the room that tells you who is around. The floor gives it back, and a room’s voice channel lets a quick question stay quick.
Common questions
Is the virtual office required?
No. It is an optional module; the HR system works fully without it.
Where does presence come from?
From attendance. Clocking in puts a person at their desk; clocking out takes them off the floor.
